The Flying V is the Technical University of Delft's energy-efficient response to the challenge to innovate more sustainable air travel. Its spectacular v-shape design integrates the passenger cabin, cargo hold and fuel tanks in the wing structure and is predicted to use 20% less fuel that today's most advanced planes.

The innovation continues into the oval-shaped cabin where the goal is to improve the passenger experience at lower weight, but with similar or higher passenger density. This is an opportunity to learn more about how sustainability is driving new thinking about the cabin interior.
